Arnicle House
is set in the middle of a working hill sheep farm
overlooking the riding arena, and has pleasing views of the
surrounding hills and glen.
The house itself was built in
the early 20th century and has recently been refurbished in
keeping with the original design of the house, the lovely
wooden floors, doors and panelling have been retained along
with the open fires in every room, the rooms are all
spacious and comfortably decorated.
Arnicle House is a
good central base if you wish to island hop, Gigha, Islay,
Jura, and Arran, are all within easy reach. See the
beautiful gardens on Gigha, golf at Machrihanish, Southend
or Tarbert, or even go hill walking, bird watching, and
fishing in the hill lochs that surround the farm.
