Arnicle
Cottage is a self catering cottage set in the middle of
a working hill sheep farm and has pleasing views of the
surrounding hills and glen and has a river running by.
The shepherds cottage sleeps 4, has 1 double and 2
single rooms a sitting room with wood burning stove, a
well equipped kitchen, bathroom with jacuzzi bath and
shower,a large conservatory ,TV and a large garden. We
are 3 miles from Glenbarr where there is a shop,garden
centre and coffee shop with lovely home baking. There
is also a riding centre on site where you can get
accommodation for your horse too.
Arnicle Cottage is a good central base if you wish to island
hop, Gigha, Islay, Jura, and Arran, are all within easy
reach. See the beautiful gardens on Gigha, golf at
Machrihanish, Southend or Tarbert, or even go hill walking,
bird watching, and fishing in the hill lochs that surround
the farm.
You might just like to get away from the hustle and bustle
of every day life, and escape to the peace and quiet that
Arnicle house can offer you - being three miles off the main
road, with only the sound of the birds, sheep and the river
running close by, what more can you say!
